CoreAccess Overview
Enterprise Security Management Solution
CoreAccess is a comprehensive Enterprise Wide Security Management solution fully owned and managed by TDS (Time Data Security) Ltd. The system is designed to enable organisations to control physical access for employees, visitors and contractors and to protect both tangible and intellectual assets whilst ensuring onsite Health & Safety.
With its ‘Total Access’ strategy the CoreAccess solution satisfies the need of its international customer base; controlled, highly secure access to buildings, offices and plant, combined with maximum ease of use and aesthetic appeal. CoreAccess is designed to deliver true-layered value resulting in improved performance of the Security and Safety Function, optimisation of resources, investment protection and cost benefits both immediate and on-going.
Open Architecture Facilitating Seamless Integration
CoreAccess has been developed as an open architecture solution. It provides standard interface gateways for interfacing with third-party systems including Human Resources, CCTV, Cashless Catering and Building Management Systems. In addition a full suite of standard APIs can be made available.
CoreAccess Modules
The CoreAccess solution is modular enabling organisations to implement components on a phased basis in accordance with their particular requirements.
Unlimited Capacity with Built in Resilience
CoreAccess has been developed to meet the most diverse and difficult security needs by providing a highly stable infrastructure for installations where security and safety is of paramount importance. The system is designed to meet the needs of any size organisation as the hardware has unlimited handling capacity as there is no limit to the number of Control Points that can be set-up and configured on the database.
Distributed Intelligent Architecture Providing Three Tier Resilience
The CoreAccess system includes local intelligence at several levels,
ensuring that access control can continue to be enforced, even
if some of its components are off line due to server or network
considerations. When all elements of the hardware deployment are
fully functional, a card presented at an access point is validated at
Oracle database level. If the main Oracle database is unavailable
the local communications interface provides a real-time on-line
response from its internal data files. If the communications interface
server is unavailable the access point reader performs verification
from its internal controller master records.
